Where does your research idea fit?
A research map and paper atlas of machine learning, vision and AI. Describe what you plan to try: scime places it among every accepted paper from ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR and AAAI (2016–2026) and shows its area, its approach and the closest existing work.
Each dot is a paper, colored by research area. The pulsing ring is an example idea placed on the map. Try that example 0 of 108,967 shown, up to 2016 .
Place your idea
Describe what you plan to try. See which area, topic and cluster it lands in, and the closest of all 108,967 accepted papers.
Be specific: name the method , the task and, if you can, the data . For example, "few-shot image classification by adapting CLIP with learned prompts" finds much closer work than "image classification with foundation models".
Speculative decoding with a small draft model to speed up LLM inference
Exclude a topic (optional) Papers closer to this topic than to your idea are left out.
Place on map To find related papers, your idea is sent to our server and matched by meaning with an open-source model. It is not stored and not sent to anyone else.
What is scime?
scime maps ten years of top-tier ML and vision research, 108,967 accepted papers from ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR and AAAI (2016 to 2026), so you can see where a research idea fits before you spend months on it.
Place your idea. Describe it in a sentence. scime shows the area, topic and cluster it lands in and the closest papers by meaning.
Check novelty with AI. Compares your idea with the nearest abstracts: what overlaps, what is different, and how to make it more distinct.
Flow. See how areas and topics grew or shrank year by year. The AI topic guide shows rising and cooling directions and open problems, each linked to real papers.
Browse the map and Flow without an account. Sign in with your free scime account to place your own ideas, save ideas and see them on the map, get more AI requests per day, and turn an idea into a scime draft project.
scime atlas is made by Latentic Labs . When your idea is ready to write up, scime draft covers the paper, submission and rebuttal.
